The robust and fast MPPT regulator with VE.Can for demanding conditions, supporting solar panel voltages up to 450 V and a charging current of 200 A. Designed for 48 V batteries with a maximum solar input of 11,520 Wp. It features built-in Bluetooth and a display.
Note: This version comes with MC-4 connectors.
Four independent PV inputs for MPPT tracking
With four independent inputs, you can connect, for example, four differently oriented or sized PV arrays.
VE.Direct port
For connection to the GX device, system monitoring, data transfer to the VRM portal, and remote firmware updates.
VE.Can
A solution for multiple solar regulators in one system. With VE.Can functionality, up to 25 units can be synchronized in one PV system.

Victron Energy MPPT solar regulators are among the world's best, offering ultra-fast MPPT tracking.
Built-in Bluetooth Smart
Monitoring and configuring the SmartSolar MPPT regulator can be done via smartphone or tablet. You can monitor current states and historical data and make parameter adjustments using the VictronConnect mobile app.
If you prefer to perform these actions on a PC, you can use a VE.direct to USB cable to connect the regulator to a PC. Simply install the Victron Connect program on your computer.
Built-in Display
The display is located on the front of the regulator, allowing you to visualize all operational states.
Isolated PV Connection for Increased Safety
Fully galvanic isolation between PV and battery terminals provides additional overall system safety.
Monitoring PV Isolation Resistance at Higher Voltages
The MPPT RS continuously monitors PV panels and can detect potential faults that reduce panel insulation to dangerous levels.
I/O Connections
Programmable relay, temperature sensor, auxiliary, digital input, and voltage sensor. The remote input can receive signals from Victron BMS.
Recommended Configuration
For 48 V batteries. Maximum DC charging power of the system is 11.5 kW. In case of exceeding these values, the regulator will not be damaged but will automatically reduce incoming power from the panels to acceptable levels.
The maximum short-circuit current into the regulator from the PV panels must not exceed 20 A per input, as permanent damage may occur.
The maximum input voltage of PV panels, referred to as Voc (open circuit voltage), must not exceed 450 Voc (approximately 360 Vmpp), as permanent damage may occur—consider that Voc increases with decreasing temperature. The operational voltage range of the MPPT is 80–450 V, and the start-up voltage is 120 V.

Attention: It is not allowed to use Victron Energy MPPT regulators in combination with PV panel optimizers. Using them together may damage both the MPPT regulator and the optimizers, and this damage may not be recognized as a valid warranty claim.
