This powerful PremiumCord extender is an ideal solution for transmitting HDMI signals over long distances in installations where running an HDMI cable is not possible or practical. The device uses a standard Cat6/6a/7 network cable and offers a transmission speed of up to 10.2 Gbps including HDCP support for secure content transmission.
The extender features a local HDMI output on the transmitter unit, allowing you to connect a monitor or TV directly at the signal source while simultaneously transmitting the image to a remote display device. It also supports HDR 10 for enhanced dynamic range and EDID pass-through for automatic configuration of optimal resolution.
Easy installation and use
The extender consists of transmitter and receiver units that are connected with a single Cat6/6a/7 network cable. For optimal performance over longer distances, we recommend using a quality copper cable with AWG23 conductors, ideally UTP Cat6. Installation is simple - just connect the signal source to the transmitter, the display device to the receiver, and link both units with a network cable.
Integrated IR transmission
The extender includes an IR signal transmission function that allows you to control the source device with a remote control from the location where the receiver and display device are placed. Simply connect the included IR transmitters and receivers to the appropriate connectors on the extender units.
POC power for maximum convenience
The extender uses Power Over Cable (POC) technology, which allows both units to be powered from a single source. Just connect the power adapter to the transmitter unit, and the receiver is powered through the connecting network cable, which significantly simplifies installation in places with limited access to the electrical network.
