DELL PowerSwitch S5448F-ON represents the latest generation of disaggregated hardware and software solutions for data centers. This innovative switch offers high port density with up to 48 100GbE (SFP56-DD) ports and 8 400GbE (QSFP56-DD) ports in a compact 1RU design. With multi-rate ports, it supports flexible transition to higher speeds and simplifies migration to 100 and 400Gbps.

The S5448F-ON switch is equipped with state-of-the-art hardware and Dell SmartFabric OS10 operating system that optimizes flexibility, efficiency, and availability of data center networks. It provides 16Tbps non-blocking (full duplex) switching performance and is ideal for demanding environments with high performance requirements. With support for Priority-based Flow Control (PFC), Data Center Bridge Exchange (DCBX), and Enhanced Transmission Selection (ETS), it is perfectly prepared for DCB environments.

Advanced Data Center Capabilities
S5448F-ON supports Routable RoCE for convergence of compute and storage on Active Fabric. The switch is designed with a choice of airflow direction - either IO panel to PSU or PSU to IO panel - for optimal cooling in hot/cold aisle environments.

Flexible Networking Options
With support for the open standard Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), it enables zero-touch installation of Dell SmartFabric OS10 or alternative network operating systems. The switch provides a consistent DevOps framework across compute, storage, and networking elements.

High Reliability and Performance
S5448F-ON is equipped with redundant, hot-swappable power supplies and fans for maximum uptime. Power-efficient operation up to 45°C helps reduce cooling costs in temperature-constrained environments.
