The PLANET XT-705A is a high-performance media converter that enables reliable extension of a 10G Ethernet network over long distances using optical transmission. The device supports conversion between a 2.5G/5G/10GBASE-T (RJ45) copper interface and a 10GBASE-X (SFP+) optical interface, ensuring flexibility and compatibility with various network infrastructures. The media converter is ideal for data centers, enterprise networks, campus installations, and Internet Service Providers (ISPs).

The XT-705A supports optical connections up to 300 meters using multi-mode fiber or up to 80 kilometers with single-mode fiber. With high transmission speed, low latency, and a robust design, it is suitable for critical applications requiring reliable and high-speed data transmission.
