Solar Inverter GETI GWH02D 4000 W MPPT for PV Water Heating
The Solar Inverter GETI GWH02D is particularly suitable for use in systems for photovoltaic water heating utilizing the NZÚ and NZÚ Light subsidy program.
Save costs and heat water with solar energy today. With the GETI GWH02D Solar Inverter and automatic switching to the grid, you can significantly reduce your water heating costs. The NZÚ Light subsidy covers up to 100% of the costs for the installed system.
The inverter allows direct use of photovoltaic panel systems to power resistive heating devices such as electric boilers, heaters, heating mats, water heaters, etc. Additionally, it is equipped with an AC input, enabling connection to the grid for water heating even when solar radiation is insufficient.
Note: The GETI GWH inverter is suitable only for resistive loads with a bimetallic thermostat. It is not suitable for electronically controlled thermostats! The inverter output (L, N) must not be connected to the electrical grid or grounded! The inverter output must not be connected to a TN-C system.
The system is simple and requires only the connection of the appropriate number of photovoltaic panels with a maximum power of 4000 W and an operating voltage of 160 to 350 V DC, grid voltage of 230 V AC, and connection to a resistive load such as a heating coil, electric boiler, electric radiator, or underfloor heating and protective elements.
The DC current generated in the panels, which cannot be directly supplied to heating devices, is converted to AC current in the inverter, which can be used to power heating devices.
The maximum system power is 4000 W. The inverter has a priority input from photovoltaic panels and when this voltage drops below 120 V, water heating will be powered by the grid voltage of 230 V AC.
It is equipped with a relay switching circuit, which connects its output either to the inverter circuit or directly to the AC grid, for which it is just a bypass. The Geti inverter is therefore grid-backed (so-called bypass). Since both energy sources are separated in this way, it is not possible for the inverter to cause unauthorized feed-ins to the grid.
The inverter is equipped with an LED display that informs the user of the current status of the inverter.
