Xtend Solarmi NLQ4-125/2P

Automatic transfer switch with passive power contacts 2P for switching between two energy sources depending on the presence of mains voltage.

The device includes control contacts for automatic operation according to mains availability and power contacts for switching loads up to 20 A at 230 V. The switch can be used for connecting backup energy sources such as photovoltaic power plants, battery UPS systems, or generators. Alternatively, it serves for automatic activation of various appliances depending on the availability of solar energy.

For proper automatic operation, control voltage must be present on both inputs A and B. Control input A defines the priority source, while auxiliary input B provides the energy for switching in case of main source failure. If no voltage is available at input B, the device can be operated manually using a slider switch.

Switching function
Allows switching between the public grid and backup energy sources (photovoltaic system, battery UPS, generator). The connection can also be inverted – connect the public grid to input A and the backup source to input B.

Load control based on energy availability
Automatically activates selected appliances when electrical energy is available on input A. Suitable for heating storage tanks, boilers, charging electric vehicles, or controlling pumps according to photovoltaic surplus energy.

Galvanic isolation of control circuits
A single non-isolated network can be used for controlling inputs A + B, allowing input A to be controlled by an external device (e.g., PV battery status monitor) while simultaneously powering input B from the same network.
