Professional battery charger with advanced adaptive charging algorithm and two isolated outputs.
The Skylla-i 24 V (1+1) charger has two isolated outputs for charging two battery packs. The second output, limited to approximately 4 A and with a slightly lower output voltage, is designed for charging the starter battery.
Thanks to its robust construction with an epoxy powder-coated aluminum casing and drip cover, the charger can withstand harsh environmental conditions, including heat, humidity, and salty air. The circuit boards are protected by an acrylic coating for maximum corrosion resistance.
Flexible settings for different types of batteries
In addition to the CAN bus interface (NMEA 2000), the charger is equipped with a rotary switch, DIP switches, and potentiometers for adjusting the charging algorithm to the specific battery and its conditions of use.
Smart charging technology
The Skylla-i charger uses several advanced technologies for optimal charging. Variable absorption time ensures the correct amount of charge according to the battery's state of discharge. BatterySafe mode automatically limits the rate of voltage increase when boiling voltage is reached, preventing battery damage. Storage mode reduces the maintenance voltage to 2.2 V/cell with weekly “refresh” of the battery to the absorption level.
Versatile use
Thanks to its perfectly stabilized output voltage, the Skylla-i can also be used as a power source when batteries or large isolation capacitors are not available. The charger is suitable for a wide range of applications, from marine installations to industrial systems, where reliable charging and power supply are required.
