Dell PowerScale F710 represents a powerful all-flash NAS platform designed for demanding data tasks in data centers, edge devices, or the cloud. This highly scalable system is powered by two Intel® Xeon® processors with a frequency of 2.6 GHz and 24 cores, complemented by 512 GB of memory. Thanks to QLC technology, it offers a cost-effective solution for storing unstructured data in use cases such as artificial intelligence, big data analytics, HPC, or genomics.
The system utilizes 10 NVMe SSD drives in a compact 1U chassis, with a choice between TLC and QLC technology, offering capacity up to 77 TB per node in this configuration. PowerScale F710 can scale from a minimum of 3 nodes up to massive clusters with 252 nodes and a total capacity of up to 307 PB, all within a single file system and namespace thanks to the advanced OneFS operating system.
Distributed OneFS File System
PowerScale F710 is built on the OneFS 9.7 operating system or newer, which creates a fully journaled and distributed file system with globally coherent write/read cache. Upgradeable without service interruption, it provides unique capabilities for data management and optimization.
Data Optimization and Efficiency
The system offers SmartDedupe technology for data deduplication, which can reduce storage requirements by up to 35%. With inline data reduction and compression, it provides a guaranteed data reduction ratio of 2:1 (DRR), significantly saving storage space and costs.

PowerScale F710 supports a wide range of protocols including NFSv3, NFSv4, NFSoRDMA, SMB1-3, HTTP, FTP, NDMP, SNMP, LDAP, HDFS, and S3, ensuring maximum flexibility when integrating into existing infrastructures.
