The new generation of MPPT controllers of the XTRA-N G3 BLE series with built-in Bluetooth is ideal for off-grid systems with panel voltage up to 150 V and a maximum charging current of 40 A. Battery 12/24/36/48 V, PV max 520/1040/1560/2080 Wp.

This solar charge controller is suitable for a wide range of off-grid applications such as cottages, houses, etc. It is also suitable for use in vehicles thanks to the option of negative grounding.

A multifunction display is integrated directly into the MPPT controller for easy system monitoring and setting of operating parameters, including control LED indicators.

Built-in Bluetooth allows monitoring and setting of the controller without the need for additional components.

The controller works as a converter, which means it can process higher input voltage and lower current into lower voltage/increased current with high efficiency. This allows you to use virtually any solar panel. The controller is compatible with lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries.

The solar controller features the latest MPPT technology (Maximum Power Point Tracking) – tracking the maximum power point using an advanced tracking algorithm, enabling the solar module to operate at the optimal voltage for the highest available output. Compared to traditional PWM controllers, MPPT technology increases charging efficiency by about 30%.

The maximum battery charging current of this model is 40 A, which corresponds to a panel output of 520 Wp for a 12V battery, 1040 Wp for a 24V battery, or 2080 Wp for a 48V battery. If the panel delivers a higher power output, the controller will simply limit it to its nominal maximum. The PV panel power must not exceed 1.5 times the nominal power of the controller!

You can connect solar panels in series, but their open circuit voltage (Voc) must never exceed 150 V – exceeding this value will permanently damage the controller (note that with decreasing ambient temperature, the panel voltage increases, and the Voc value listed in the panel specs is at 25 °C. Therefore, it is recommended not to exceed 130 V Voc).

The controller parameters (especially battery type) are set via the built-in LCD model XDS2, an external MT52 display (not included), or via built-in Bluetooth.
