The new generation of MPPT controllers from the XTRA-N G3 BLE series with built-in Bluetooth is ideal for off-grid systems with panel voltages up to 100 V and a maximum charging current of 40 A. Battery 12/24 V, PV max 520/1040 Wp.

This solar charge controller is suitable for a wide range of off-grid applications such as cabins, homes, etc. It is also suitable for vehicle use thanks to the option of grounding to the negative pole.

A multifunction display is integrated directly into the MPPT controller for easy system monitoring and optional parameter settings, including status LED indicators.

Built-in Bluetooth connectivity allows monitoring and configuring the controller without the need for additional components.

The controller functions as a converter, meaning it can convert higher input voltage with lower current into lower voltage/higher current with high efficiency. Therefore, virtually any solar panel can be used. The controller is compatible with both lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries.

The solar charge controller is equipped with the latest MPPT technology (Maximum Power Point Tracking) – tracking the point of maximum power with an advanced algorithm that enables the solar module to operate at the optimal voltage for maximum available power. Compared to a traditional PWM controller, MPPT technology increases charging efficiency by approximately 30%.

The maximum battery charging current for this model is 40 A, which corresponds to a panel power of 520 Wp for a 12V battery or 1040 Wp for a 24V battery. If the panel delivers more power, the controller will limit it to its nominal max power. The total PV power should not exceed 1.5 times the rated controller power!

You can connect solar panels in series, but their open-circuit voltage (Voc) must never exceed 100 V – exceeding this value will permanently damage the controller. (Note that as ambient temperature decreases, panel voltage increases. The Voc value specified in panel parameters is typically at 25 °C. Therefore, it is recommended not to exceed a Voc of 90 V).

Controller parameters (mainly the battery type) can be set using the built-in LCD version XDS2, an external MT52 display (not included), or via the built-in Bluetooth.
