An intelligent, powerful, and programmable charger for all types of lead-acid and Li-Ion (LiFePO4) batteries. Battery connection cables and power cable (IEC 320 C14) are not included.
Bluetooth SMART Interface
Any smartphone with Bluetooth technology, tablet, or other device can be used to monitor, set up, and update the charger.
Phoenix Smart (1 + 1): Two Outputs for Charging 2 Batteries
The second output, limited to approximately 3 A and with a slightly lower output voltage, is intended for charging the starter battery.
Automatic Voltage Compensation
The charger compensates for voltage drops on DC cables by slightly increasing the output voltage as DC current increases.
Adaptive Five-Stage Charging Algorithm: Bulk - Absorption - Recondition - Float - Storage
The charger is equipped with an "adaptive" management system that can be preset for different battery types. The "adaptive" function automatically optimizes the charging process based on battery usage.
Prevents Damage from Excessive Gassing: BatterySafe Mode
If a high charging current is selected for fast battery charging in combination with a high absorption voltage, the charger prevents damage from excessive gassing by automatically limiting the voltage increase once the gassing voltage is reached.
Reduces Battery Maintenance and Aging When Not in Use: Storage Mode
The storage mode is activated whenever the battery has not been discharged for the last 24 hours. In this mode, the voltage is reduced to minimize gassing and corrosion of the battery’s positive plates. Once a week, the voltage is raised back to absorption level to balance battery cell voltage. This function prevents electrolyte stratification and sulfation, which are the main causes of premature battery failure.
Charges Li-ion (LiFePO4) Batteries
The battery’s BMS control can be connected to the remote on/off terminal, allowing easy control of the charger. A dedicated Li-Ion charging algorithm can be activated via a button on the charger, or charging parameters can be set via Bluetooth.
Fully Programmable Charging Algorithm
The charging algorithm can be set up via Bluetooth or the VE.Direct interface. The MODE button allows switching between three pre-programmed algorithms.
Remote On/Off
The remote on/off control consists of two terminals: Remote H and Remote L. A remote switch or relay contact can be connected between H and L.
VE.Direct Interface
Used for data connection to the Color Control panel, PC, or other devices.
Programmable Relay
Can be programmed (e.g., via smartphone) to activate alarms or other events.
