The Optical Line Terminal OLT is the central unit for building a GPON network. It contains two control units and two slots for service boards (e.g. DS-LGPA-16 and DS-LGPA-08), which can offer up to 32 GPON ports or 32× XGS-PON & GPON combined ports. It supports a splitting ratio of 1 : 128 for GPON services and 1 : 256 for XGS-PON. It supports redundant power supply AC 100–240 V and DC -38.4–57.6 V.
