Victron Phoenix Smart Charger 12V/50A (1+1 Output)
Intelligent, powerful, and programmable charger for all types of lead-acid and Li-Ion (LiFePO4) batteries. Battery connection cables and power cable (IEC 320 C14) are not included in the package.
Bluetooth SMART Interface
Use any smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device to monitor, set up, and update the charger.
Phoenix Smart (1+1): Dual Output for Charging Two Batteries
The second output, limited to approximately 3 A and with slightly lower output voltage, is intended for charging the starter battery.
Automatic Voltage Compensation
The charger compensates for voltage drops on DC cables by slightly increasing the output voltage as the DC current increases.
Adaptive Five-Stage Charging Algorithm: Bulk – Absorption – Recondition – Float – Storage
Equipped with an “adaptive” management system that can be preset for various battery types. The “adaptive” feature automatically optimizes the charging process according to battery usage.
Prevents Damage from Excessive Gassing: BatterySafe Mode
When high charging current and high absorption voltage are selected, BatterySafe mode prevents damage from excessive gassing by automatically limiting the voltage increase once gassing voltage is reached.
Reduced Maintenance and Aging of Unused Batteries: Storage Mode
The storage mode is activated whenever the battery has not been discharged for 24 hours. In storage mode, the voltage is reduced to minimize gassing and corrosion of positive battery plates. Once a week, the voltage is increased to absorption level to balance cell voltage, preventing electrolyte stratification and plate sulfation, the main causes of premature battery failure.
Charges Li-Ion (LiFePO4) Batteries
The remote on/off connector can connect to BMS control, enabling the battery to easily control the charger. The charging algorithm for Li-Ion batteries can be activated with a button on the charger, or Li-Ion battery charging parameters can be set via Bluetooth.
Fully Programmable Charging Algorithm
The charging algorithm can be set using Bluetooth or VE.Direct interface. The MODE button allows selection of three pre-programmed algorithms.
Remote On/Off
The remote on/off consists of two terminals: Remote H and Remote L. A remote switch or relay contact can be connected between H and L.
VE.Direct Interface
Enables data connection to Color Control panel, PC, or other devices.
Programmable Relay
The relay can be programmed (e.g., using a smartphone) to activate on an alarm or other events.
