The new generation of MPPT controllers from the XTRA-N G3 BLE series, equipped with built-in Bluetooth, is ideal for off-grid systems with panel voltages up to 100 V and a maximum charging power of 30 A. It supports batteries with 12/24 V and a maximum solar input of 390/780 Wp. The built-in Bluetooth allows for monitoring and configuration of the controller without the need for additional components.
This solar controller is suitable for a wide range of off-grid applications, such as cottages, houses, etc. It's also ideal for vehicles due to its ability to ground to the negative pole. The integrated multifunctional display makes it easy to monitor the system and configure operational parameters, including control LEDs.
The controller acts as a converter, which means it can handle higher input voltage and lower current, converting it to lower voltage/higher current with high efficiency. As a result, you can use almost any solar panel. The controller is compatible with lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries.
Equipped with the latest MPPT technology (Maximum Power Point Tracking) featuring an advanced tracking algorithm, this controller ensures that the solar module operates at the ideal voltage to produce the highest possible output. Compared to traditional PWM controllers, MPPT technology can boost charging efficiency by around 30%.
The maximum charging power to the battery is 30 A, which corresponds to a panel capacity of 390 Wp for a 12V battery, or 780 Wp for a 24V battery. If the panel generates more power, the controller will limit the output to its nominal maximum. The output power of solar panels must not exceed 1.5 times the controller's nominal power!
Solar panels can be connected in series, but their open-circuit voltage (Voc) must never exceed 100 V – exceeding this limit will permanently damage the controller (note that with decreasing ambient temperature, the voltage of the solar panel increases, and the Voc value specified on the panel refers to a temperature of 25°C. We recommend not exceeding a Voc of 90 V).
Controller parameters (such as battery type) can be configured via the built-in LCD display XDS2, an external MT52 display (not included), or through built-in Bluetooth.
