Ubiquiti UniFi Express

The powerful and compact UniFi Network gateway serves as an All-in-One gateway, firewall, and Wi-Fi 6 access point. The integrated access point utilizes the 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) standard, offering a transfer speed (aggregated throughput) of up to 2.97 Gbps and covering an area of up to 140 m2 with its signal. Need more Wi-Fi coverage? No problem, simply add additional UX units for seamless coverage expansion by creating a Mesh network. With integrated antennas boasting a gain of 5.15 dBi (5 GHz) and 4 dBi (2.4 GHz), it provides reliable bidirectional communication between the AP and over 60 clients. UniFi Express has an integrated UniFi Network app to manage up to 4 UniFi devices (APs and switches). To further expand your network with UniFi Protect and UniFi Access security or access devices, add a UniFi Cloud Key or UniFi NVR server.

The UniFi Express offers mostly the same features as other UniFi gateways, including powerful network segmentation, application firewall, VPN, or Site Magic SD-WAN functionality without a license. The only exceptions are Suspicious Activity features (also known as IDS/IPS), which are not available on UniFi Express. When operated as a gateway, UniFi Express manages up to four additional UniFi Network devices such as other UniFi Express units, switches, and Wi-Fi access points. UniFi Express can also be deployed as a Wi-Fi access point in existing UniFi Networks with a wired or wireless uplink.
