MikroTik wAP 60G

The wAP 60G is a full-duplex unit in the license-free 60 GHz band, offered at an unbeatable price. Due to the frequency band used, the link is not affected by surrounding interference, providing a stable and very fast connection. It is ideal for short distances, as a replacement for optical connections.
MikroTik has introduced a revolutionary unit that fully replaces gigabit Ethernet connections. One of its greatest advantages is the use of the 60 GHz band, ensuring that the unit will not be disturbed by surrounding networks. The unit also offers high security with AES encryption, which has not been broken yet.

The unit comes with MikroTik RouterOS software and an L3 license. This license is fully sufficient for creating a point-to-point link. The unit has an integrated PoE splitter, so it can be powered directly via UTP cable.

Supports the 802.3af/at standard, allowing the unit to be powered via UTP cable up to 100 meters. The package includes, in addition to the PoE splitter, power supply, and mount, a special screw that prevents unauthorized access to the device.

The package includes one side of the connection.

The operation of the 60GHz link in the Czech Republic is only possible in accordance with the applicable general authorization VO-R/12/03.2021-3. The actual range of the link depends on local regulations and conditions in each country.
