GridFree inverter with limiter is a revolutionary solution for home solar instalations which works similarly to other GridFree microinverters but they are able to reduce own production according to the current consumption of the house and thus completely avoid of overflows to the public grid.
These inverters are designed for internal use and you can monitor current values on color display where following values are shown:
There are also specific settings of the inverter suitable in case when the battery is at DC input ie. Working input voltage (lower limit) and the maximum power output of the inverter.
GridFree inverter operates in the range of input voltage 45-90 Vdc and continuous power is 900 W (peak 1000 W). The output of the inverter is at nominal voltage AC 230 V and output is connected between the main circuit breaker to the electricity meter and home circuit breakers box.
Inverter transfer the power from solar panels or batteries to the domestic electricity grid. Your appliances will take energy made from your own production. The rest energy is taken from public grid in case the output power of your own production will not be enough for all appliances.
You can protect your system against unwanted overflows to the public grid when you will produce more energy than your appliances require by installing of the supplied current sensor. This sensor is connected directly to the inverter and make sure the sensor is connected right by the narrow on the case of sensor.
The inverter does not operate in island mode (offgrid) and his operation requires a connection to the public grid. The inverter switches off immediately in case of public grid failure.
The inverters are certified for sale and use in the EU. Inverter meets all needed standard and certification: (EMC, LVD, RoHS and EN50438).
Very efficient and easy way to solve your independent production of el. energy while maintaining grid connection. The ideal way to reduce electricity cost. Slow down your electricity meter! (By reducing consumption from the Grid.)
Connection of your solar system with this inverter is easy and simple:
Connect the solar panels or batteries at the DC input (ESD protection required), connect the current sensor on the one phase and connect the 230 V output to the domestic grid.
Without batteries:
With batteries:
More solar panels must be connected together with inverter to meet the real output power of the inverter and aslo do not exceed the max. input voltage of the inverter.

Reduce self-consumption from the distribution network 1:
The SUN 1000 inverter with the external accessories listed in the documentation meets the requirements for parallel connection to the Czech grid (RfG).
The most common use is to reduce self-consumption from the distribution network by connecting the inverter anywhere between the distribution network and the point of consumption.
Reduce self-consumption from the distribution network 2:
In the case of using a battery and a limiter, the energy obtained from the sun can be used even when it is not shining. If the energy produced is not enough for the current consumption, the remaining part is automatically replenished from the grid. Without a limiter, the system can operate into the distribution grid as a generating plant (PV plant) in surplus power sales mode
Inverters can also be used to increase the available power in island (off grid) systems, e.g. in combination with Victron island inverters, in AC coupling mode (pairing with the AC output of the island inverter instead of the distribution grid).
Application - Single-phase or Three-phase system with battery and limiter:
Due to the possible accumulation, it is particularly suitable for the use of all generated electricity for own consumption.
Application - AC coupling with hybrid or island inverter:
If an AC mains independent inverter is designed for AC coupling (e.g. VE Multiplus), it is possible to connect the SUN inverter with limiter to its AC output. Its output thus does not affect the Multiplus' own mode (AC battery charging), but the overall output power is boosted. The output of the SUN inverter in AC coupling must be less than the output of the island to which it is connected. Charging the battery via the AC path through the Multiplus (from its input or output side) is only possible after the addition of other protection or communication elements or functions and their correct setting.
Application - RFG compliance:
GF-SUN-1000G2, GF-SUN-2000G2-T, GF-SUN-1000G2H and GF-SUN-2000G2 products with additional accessories meet the requirements of the Commission Regulation EU 2016/631 (RfG NC). Requirements can be specified according to regional distribution grids.
The interruption of power supply from the production module is ensured by contactor KM1, which is switched by connecting the N wire to its coil from the distributor control device. Connecting the N wire switches on the contactor and disconnects the production module from the distribution network via its power NC contact.
The delayed connection of the production module after a mains failure is ensured by the time relay KA1. After a loss of mains voltage, the relay KA1 galvanically disconnects the production module from the distribution network (breakdown point KM1). When the voltage is restored, relay KA1 reconnects the production module after a set time.
